Lydia, A Seller of Purple

In today's lesson, we examine the life of Lydia closely. Her story is not extensively told in the Scriptures. We have access to only a few key stories that give us enough information to conclude that she was a diligent and faithful servant of the Lord. She was not at the forefront of the missionary work back in the day, but her faith played a key role in the lives of believers as she modeled what life with Christ was like.

Role models that existed for Christians in the early church are still accessible to us today. In fact, it is very important that we continually learn from those who came before us so that we can continue to grow.
