Coming before God and asking for restoration is the focus of this month. Yet even after the restoration has been completed, the responsibility falls back on us to claim that which is ours.
The sermon that kicks off the month of June traces a story of Elisha in 2 Kings 6:1-7. It's an impressive story that shows God's awesome power, but at the very end, in verse seven, it ends with a call to action. While this sermon might seem better suited for the end rather than the beginning, it has a place in your life right now. We need to be sensitive to the fact that all our prayers this month will eventually come back to us for their completion. Being aware early can cut out delays that are sometimes caused by our own negligence rather than God's inability to help us.
Are you feeling encouraged walking into this? Are you feeling down and frustrated? Regardless of where you are emotionally and mentally, this is a sermon for you. Click the video below to watch!
