The Lord spoke so clearly to us in every single Lessons of Life this month that we had no choice but to feature them all!
Starting strong with Marriage is Good, "Who Should I Marry?" We examined the fundamental aspects that singles should look for in a future partner. While 18 factors might seem like a lot to address in one sitting, the points were clear and precise, answering burning questions in the hearts and minds of so many youth.
Moving forward, we had The Righteous Shall Flourish, addressing the very practical topic: Recovering From Debts. In a society that seems to run on its people being consistently in debt, it seems pointless to try to recover from what has been built into the system.
As we look through the story of Elisha and the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7, we learn to never accept the status quo and to always look for the God perspective in everything.
Moving forward beyond financial recovery, this month, we touched on what can be a very sensitive part of people's lives - physical recovery.
Despite the continuous technological and medical advancements, human health is still very poorly understand and often very hard to treat. There are medical pronouncements that are terminal, while others are conditions that people are told to expect to live with for the rest of their lives. In the face of such situations, it can be hard to see the place for supernatural recovery, but this is exactly what God has asked us to do.
For this Lessons of Life, we follow the journey of Naaman in 2 Kings 5:1-14. We learn from the mistakes he made as well as the things he did well. And from his example, we too can learn the steps to take to obtain our supernatural recovery.
We concluded this month with a topic that might at first seem off the mark, but actually ties strongly to the theme of recovery — Called and Equipped for Service.
Of all the things that God wants to restore to us, arguably one of the most important is our purpose. It is essential for everyone to discover and follow the call of God on their life, but this is not always straightforward. This teaching starts at the ground level of what it means to be called and how one knows that they are called, all the way to receiving spiritual empowerment to contend with forces that'll try to oppose you on your journey to purpose. In short, this is not a lesson to miss. It perfectly sets us up for all that God has to do in the next few months. Click the video below to become a partaker.
