In The Beginning: The Word

Before anything in this world existed, the Word did. We see this at the very beginning of the Bible (Genesis 1:1). However, it gets repeated with more depth and clarity in the New Testament (John 1:1). While that seems cool, we can be left wondering how that applies to us. 

There is a significance to the story of the beginning that carries over to our lives today. And when we understand what God is demonstrating in those first few verses of scripture, we hold a new power as Christians.
