In life there are always levels. Skill levels, employment levels, and also levels of understanding. There are basic things that we all learn and know as we grow up. However, depending on the education pathways we choose as individuals, we end up learning different things with some people becoming more advanced than others. Levels of that dimension also exist in the faith. Every believer must start at the point of knowledge. You cannot go far unless you know something, and when you have knowledge, you are able to dive deeper and then gain understanding. Understanding is what gives knowledge life, making it more than plain facts, but the levels don't just end wiith understanding.
